Welcome to Chariaid International
Chariaid International is a nonprofit and non-political organization founded to empower youths, vulnerable persons families, and communities through our wide range of programs and projects. These include vocational training, health campaigns, and educational scholarship grants, both locally and internationally. We achieve this by closely collaborating with individuals in diverse communities, civil society organizations, and social movements to bring about the desired positive change.
Since its establishment in 2015 by Rene Asanga, Chariaid has been dedicated to empowering local communities in Cameroon. We work with youths, vulnerable persons, families, and communities at large, helping them unlock their full potential through various outreach programs. Our participatory approach to development fosters a sense of ownership among beneficiaries, leading to empowered individuals and communities actively combating poverty locally and contributing to the global fight against poverty.
